Paying tribute to the iconic American city, the Nike Air Max 95 “Atlanta” ties together the efforts of four iconic retailers within the city; Walter’s, Wish ATL, SolePlay, and A Ma Maniére. This is not the first time Nike have dedicated a silhouette to the city, having worked on a Dunk and Air Force 1 already for Atlanta and releasing a variety of city-specific iterations throughout the years. For this pair of 95s, Nike utilises a combination of premium suede, mesh, nylon, and leather on the upper with a grey base overlaid with vibrant pops of red and orange, nodding to the signature colours of the city. Aside from the bold use of colour, the Nike Air Max 95 “Atlanta” sports some subtle detailing, with a phoenix print quietly appearing on the heel area, nodding to the Phoenix being the symbol of Atlanta representing the cities rebirth after burning down in the civil war. The insole is printed with the letters ‘ATL’ and a colourful graphic of the Phoenix, also appearing amidst the orange rubber outsole.

The Nike Air Max 95 “Atlanta” is due to release on the 4^th of April, coinciding with the annual “404 Day” – a signature celebration of creative culture in the city.
