Coming Soon: The Nike SB Dunk Low x VERDY "Visty"

If you are unfamiliar with VERDY, he is a Japanese graphic artist primarily known for his Wasted Youth and Girl’s Don’t Cry brands and having been involved in various collaborations with the likes of Instagram, Nike, DSM, UNDERCOVER, and Levi’s to name a few. These partnerships have led to mainstream popularity within the streetwear industry and big names such as A$AP Rocky and Post Malone requesting his expertise on merch design. Following on from all his success, he is now putting his spin on an eccentric pair of Nike SB Dunks which draw inspiration from the plush toy Visty that was introduced in 2021 made to honour his solo “RISE ABOVE” exhibition in Tokyo.

Bringing the plush toy to life, the upcoming Nike SB Dunk Low x Verdy “Visty” sports a pastel upper of blue, green, pink, and yellow tones. The blue overlays are made up of a ribbed velvet, whilst the green and pink accents are finished in a furry material nodding to the construction of the Visty toy. The swoosh is kept subtle in comparison with a pink leather finish, and a yellow midsole and laces complete the pair and complement the pastel aesthetic. In comparison to the extravagant uppers, the co-branding is quite muted, with the signature Nike SB tag appearing on the tongue sporting VERDY branding.

There are no official details yet of when the Nike SB Dunk Low x Verdy “Visty” are releasing but it’s expected to be at some point this year. This is without a doubt going to be one of the most anticipated releases of the year and quantities could be extremely limited.
